Qatar Airways launches new service to Budapest (January 18, 2011)
Qatar Airways made its first landing in Budapest on 17 January with an Airbus A320. The five-star Qatar Airways provides transit between capitals Doha and Budapest, with a stop in Bucharest, four times a week. Passengers flying from Budapest can reach numerous Asian and Australian destinations with only one change on the course saving up to 6 hours on journey time.

Today marked the opening of the next venue of the world-renowned Japanese chain Nobu in Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest. American actor/producer Robert De Niro made his appearance at the ceremonial event at the invitation of film producer Andy Vajna, owner of Nobu Budapest. Nobuyuki Matsuhisa, master chef of Nobu, the current holder of several Michelin stars in Los Angeles, offers a mixture of Japanese and South-American cuisine. First in Central Europe, Nobu welcomes its guests in over 500 square metres in the Hungarian capital, Budapest.

The first restaurant in Budapest winning a Michelin star is located in Ráday utca, named: Costes. The portuguese chef Miguel Vieira has created the special dishes until January and then the Argentinian Nicolas Delgado is the chef of Restaurant Costes. Michelin has been watching the activity of the restaurant for the last 3 years.. Congratulations!
Hotel President in Budapest (September 16, 2009)
By the 1st of October the newest luxury hotel of Budapest; Hotel President welcomes its guests in the V. district, under nr. 3-5 in Hold Street. 110 rooms, among them a presidential suite equipped with bullet-proof glasses making enough for NATO regulations were worked up in the hotel, and a helicopter landing place was built on the roof. 3 conference rooms (for 100, 100 and 250 people) and a wellness section waits for the guests, where swimming pool, 2 saunas, several massage rooms and jacuzzi can be found. The two-storey restaurant of Hotel President Budapest, named Intermezzo Café & Restaurant will be open for guests dropping in from the street as well.

Paris Hilton is in Budapest for the opening of the store Coin. She chose a downtown luxury hotel for her stay in Budapest. An interesting addition to her visit is that Paris Hilton presents her own collection on the thursday evening grand opening. This 1200 square-meters large store will be the first of many in Hungary, because the Italian company Coin is planning an expansion and intends to open more stores in Hungary. Paris Hilton wears a black and white dress of her collection at the grand opening of the brand new Budapest store.
